Growing Up So Fast

So what happen to the once newborn baby named Jadyn? I forgot how she became so big quickly and I don't even know it not until several people gave me their sweetest nicest compliments ever to my girl. Attached photo is the latest of my Jadyn. Yes, I agree with them, she is big now and hmmm pretty according to me and the people who just gave me their comments upon seeing the photo on my avatar.

Those are people who I consider give genuine remarks towards my baby, thank God for them for they make me realize how blessed I am to have this child, not only she brought joy to our hearts but our hope (mo pudyot sa amo tai nigka tiguwang ) as well. Jadyn, we love you so much, Sweetheart! Please be good all the time and stay pretty and healthy!

Dora

I really thought Jadyn could not learn to love Dora. I bought this DVD of Dora before she could walk for I knew someday, when she is able to understand what she is watching she will love Dora. But somehow wasn't true. At age 1 onwards, I tried playing this dvd so she can watch it, I put her in the walker but guess what? She got so bored and almost fell asleep in her walker. I thought, what is wrong with this baby?

Until recently Jadyn saw this DVD sitting in the rack and asked me to play it. VOILA! She liked it that instant after months of ignoring it. And as of this moment, she is playing at the same time watching Dora and this has been playing since this morning for 3 times now.

Dora

Looking Good Outside

I have been waiting to post about treadmills for so long. Why? Because my husband got one along with an all in one gym machine brand Hoist. We got it for a very little price for the seller sold it to us with a package deal. Before my husband bought the treadmill, he had done a lot of research on treadmills in which brand lasts long and has more features in it. When he found one that he likes, he then went to craigslist and see if he can buy it slightly used and yes he did find one, we drove to where it was and fortunately, this thingy still looks good and is really in good shape. But even though we have a treadmill now, I still prefer to walk outside for I find it fun looking at our neighbor's pretty yard landscaping as well as the red roses blooming everywhere.

Although they are not as many like other bloggers but I am happy with it for they contribute to my savings when it is time for payment. Thanks also to google for my PRs haven't disappeared yet, other paid blogging sites continue giving me opps once in a while for additional moolah.

Thankful Tuesday

Losing Hair Can Be Scary Sometimes

Losing 100 hair strands everyday is fairly normal but if you notice you lose more than that then you should be aware of it. Sometimes losing hair is a sign of underlying health condition that you may unaware of. If you find out you are losing so much hair, please go to the doctor so you can find hair loss cure. I know money is always tight but would you wait for something bad will happen before consulting a doctor? This problem is what my older brother is facing right now. I am not pretty sure if he went to the doctor or not, one thing my father told me is that he always have his head shaved bald so the bald spots in his head won't show.

While my husband, takes a lot of vitamins and other supplements to keep his body nourished and healthy. As much as he wants to keep himself looking great, never it cross in his mind taking anti wrinkle creams like prevera for he doesn't need it. As for the women, it is understandable that they need this cream for they are more prone to having wrinkles at an early age due to sun's damaging factor that penetrates to their skin.

American jokes are truly dry that everytime my husband jokes with me I don't get it. For me every word he says is SERIOUS and true. The other day he installed a new toilet in Jadyn's bathroom. He find it difficult installing it for it is a different model than what he had installed already in the master bath. Anyways, so he did the job and successfully did it. In fact, he used it right away to test if there is no leaking in the tank to the toilet.

After the testing, he came to me and said "I tried using the toilet and when I flushed, there was leaking in each side and the water just came out from each side of the tank!". And I said, come on, you are not serious. You're kidding me,Lalabs? And he replied No, I'm serious. Then he asked, you did not marry an idiot, did you? You think I'm an idiot? And I said OF COURSE NOT!

The reason he asked that because he thinks I believe that his job is a mess while in fact it's not. The toilet bowl was installed properly! Smart man. That's what I like about my Sandy because, he's a professional, a gentleman and truly a handy man. He does man things around the house that saves us money for not hiring someone to do the job for us.

Too heavy or too much fat in me is such a burden that it makes me feel lazy and weak. So it is good to be fit all the time.

We had a stranger in the house this afternoon for termites estimates and since he left I don't remember locking the front door. I was so trusting that the door was shut and I thought ah it must be locked so I just let it be like that and went on with my work. An hour later, baby and I went both to bed for our afternoon nap not realizing that the door was still unlock. If there were bad guys decided to break in the house, we could have been injured or worse killed by now! Sos santa maria God forbid but it's the reality here.

Although we live in a much nicer, quieter neighborhood but you cannot be safe anywhere according to my husband. It is such a hair-raising situation for me leaving the door unlock so inviting for thieves and burglars. Anyway, so the day went on and I was thinking of going outside to check our mailbox. That is how I discovered our door wasn't locked at all and it was already past eight o'clock. So dreary!

My Goal For This Week

I've been consistently doing my walking and weight exercises and that seemed become my usual routine now. I don't find it hard to do.. uh uh not anymore. For over two weeks I have been good at keeping my job done as well as minimizing my food intake especially during night time. Since doing all the usual works here are as easy as a snap of a finger, cleaning the refrigerator feels like a burden to me.

I don't usually do this thing and the more I think hard of it, the more my body refuses to do it. But who's gonna do it anyway? It's been ages since I had my thorough cleaning of that refrigerator and I think it's now time to do it again...this week. I'm uncertain when but my goal is to do it THIS WEEK.

When I am able to work, the very first thing I would do is look in healthcare jobs on the internet and see what I can find there. If there is no spot for me there for they require some certifications before I can join the team, I would gladly take a short term course pertaining to health care related courses. That is my goal when Jadyn starts going to school.

I started my week by having my walking exercise. Since Spring had started, I am motivated more than ever to do my exercise. Walking is fun at the same time burning your calories you have been putting on your body. That is what I plan to do until the first day of summer or until the heat is tolerable to go outside.

Meanwhile, I just had my weight exercise done couple of minutes ago. I did lunges, dumb bell kickback, leg extension, arm weight exercise and other butt exercises too. Honestly, it feels good after doing all those weights only it can be tiring when you think hard about doing it. But once you started your routine, you will have more energy to finish until the last line. Way to go! I do this for my own good, to be healthy and not to be out of shape.

We were kinda late, when we got there some of the cars have left and were leaving... but despite of that we still saw some fine and sleek looking cars from the 30s and beyond. Few photos below. Custom Cars

Yep, we had a blast at the car show up in Dallas today. We left early as agreed but it took us one and a half hours to get to the venue. We were lost, we kept driving around before we could find the place where the custom car show was held. We were kinda late, when we got there some of the cars have left and were leaving... but despite of that we still saw some fine and sleek looking cars from the 30s and beyond. Few photos below. Thankful Friday!

Today I am so thankful to my husband for bringing us to the most colorful place I have ever been. I have been meaning to go back to the Dallas Arboretum but for some reason we kept on delaying it. At long last, we were able to make it there today. The weather was so gorgeous, the temperature was nice so we decided to go ahead and see the place once again. We've been there once a year ago for our 4th wedding anniversary, that was Fall and the varieties of flowers they had were different from this time.

Thankful Friday!

Today I am so thankful to my husband for bringing us to the most colorful place I have ever been. I have been meaning to go back to the Dallas Arboretum but for some reason we kept on delaying it. At long last, we were able to make it there today. The weather was so gorgeous, the temperature was nice so we decided to go ahead and see the place once again. Spring blooms in Texas

Colorful Food

I realized Jadyn has not been getting vegetables lately. All I gave her are rice, juice and mango but I have a feeling that isn't enough. This afternoon I was awaken by the reality that my baby has not been pooping for probably 4 days now inspite of the fact that we have given her enough fiber supplement when we give her liquids.

So for her late lunch, I decided to steam some vegetables. Good enough I have some frozen colorful veggies and I used it along with hard boiled egg. Right now, I am happy seeing her eating good with the food I tender in front of her. One of the many things I learned from reading parenting magazines online is that to attract the baby to eat food is serve it delightfully and colorful. That way, they'll be more than willing to munch on it and finish it all.

Colorful Food

I realized Jadyn has not been getting vegetables lately. All I gave her are rice, juice and mango but I have a feeling that isn't enough. This afternoon I was awaken by the reality that my baby has not been pooping for probably 4 days now inspite of the fact that we have given her enough fiber supplement when we give her liquids.

So for her late lunch, I decided to steam some vegetables. Good enough I have some frozen colorful veggies and I used it along with hard boiled egg. Right now, I am happy seeing her eating good with the food I tender in front of her.
