Being Comfy

I definitely miss home in my husband's loving arms and the comfort that America has to offer. I miss sitting down together for a movie as our way of spending quality time together as a family. Although we don't have home theater seats but we do have chairs and sofas that are comfortable enough to sit on and be ourselves. One more month to go and we will be back to Texas. I can't wait for that time to come so I can put myself at ease.

We just got home in Cebu after spending 11 days in Davao. Nice to be back here where internet is unlimited, where I don't have to walk out the house just to get to the cafe carrying two little people and walking under the hot scorching sun. Of the entire time I was in Davao I have only used the internet twice it's because I spent most of my days in the outskirts Calinan. I had a lot of fun, we had so much joy to have been able to spend time with granny and aunties even just for a short period of time. I got tons of photos to share with my entire clan and guess it's going to take me hours to upload them here in my blogs and on Facebook.

Meanwhile, all I want to do is write some online tasks and rest. I feel kind of exhausted. We had an early day and a short plane ride from Davao to Cebu. I deserve to have a good night sleep eh, I think.

I Wish

Never in my school life I received a trophy for I wasn't the smart type kid nor was I active in any type of sports. It would be such a big honor to my family if for one time I brought home a trophy as a recognition of my hard work in school. But duh, my school days are gone and it's over. All I could do right now is wished I have done better during those younger days I spent in school so I can have something to be proud of and brag about to my grand kids when the time is right.

Looking at those pinewood trophies I once browsed online makes me wish that someday that my kids will bring home those kind of trophies where their name and institutions are engraved. I would be the happiest human being alive on Earth if that is the case.

Her First School Christmas Party

Jadyn and I attended my little sister's school Christmas party today. It was her first experience to go partying with so many kids in the classroom. As expected my girl behaved really good the entire time we were there that made it easier for both of us. Although she wasn't saying anything but I know she enjoyed it there a lot. It is a kind of party that she cannot experience in America where sounds gone loud, too much screaming and too crowded. There'll be parties coming her way when she starts schooling but I guess it will be a lot different than what she can have here in my own country.

Sunset

I personally took these photos during sunset in Buagsong, Cordova the other day. The place is so quiet, so relaxing and I love its tranquility. I can live here forever if my whole family is with me including my husband. I just love the beautiful sunset view, the seawater, the native huts, the place and everything about this place. I wish I stayed longer in that place but I was afraid it got dark too soon and we might not be able to get to the city proper on time. Next time again, I hope I can go back that place before I fly to Texas.

Tiled Houses

I have made two trips to South already since my arrival here in Cebu and one thing I notice about the houses built along the roads in the provinces are nicely designed and some houses are tiled from the exterior. I find them very pretty and I thought to myself, if I were to build a house here too, I would also choose a glass mosaic tile on the floor and on the wall of the house so I don't have to bother repainting my house a couple years after. They look very beautiful to me. With tiles, the house looks neat and always new because the colors won't fade and if it does, it wouldn't be too obvious.

I have made two trips to South already since my arrival here in Cebu and one thing I notice about the houses built along the roads in the provinces are nicely designed and some houses are tiled from the exterior. Forget To Lock

I see my father has changed the 4 old doorknobs that we used to have in this house. All four are new but I think the two doorknobs in our main doors wouldn't give them much security because when my brother goes out the house, he wouldn't bother locking the doorknobs before leaving the house at night time. That idea upsets my parents because what if a bad guy will come to our house and murder us all without knowing the doors are unlock. That is kind of scary. How irresponsible of him to do such thing. I think he is old enough to think/understand what is right or not, and leaving the doors open at night time is just upsetting.

I see my father has changed the 4 old doorknobs that we used to have in this house. All four are new but I think the two doorknobs in our main doors wouldn't give them much security because when my brother goes out the house, he wouldn't bother locking the doorknobs before leaving the house at night time. That idea upsets my parents because what if a bad guy will come to our house and murder us all without knowing the doors are unlock. That is kind of scary. How irresponsible of him to do such thing. I think he is old enough to think/understand what is right or not, and leaving the doors open at night time is just upsetting.

Coughing Hard

I haven't slept good since last night because my baby girl is coughing so hard. It was so hard that she threw up in the bed. Less Time To Rest

I'm still having a hard time resting. Although I manage to sleep for a few hours but I am still miserable. I can only get 3-6 hours of sleep each night, that is too little time to rest and plenty of time to be active during the day. I really start feeling weak now. Oh gosh I need to get my full 8-hour sleep soon.

We were out yesterday. We went to the beach and we had so much kiat that when we all went home, we were as dead as a vegetable. I have three new blogs that are struggling to be indexed and cached in google. I so want them to be searched on google in order to get a PR someday. That is important because how will advertisers give me offers if my blogs aren't known or exposed to the internet? A free directory submission would be a good idea but I doubt if I can do that any sooner because I am struggling and suffering here for not being able to get a good night sleep. However, I may submit my blogs to these free directories while on vacation when the time is right and when I am fully recovered.

Dang it! I feel so weak and tired all the time. I cannot even concentrate on some things I'd like to do nor do I comprehend fully well what other people are saying to me. Online Tasks

I just finished doing some of my online tasks from other blogging site and here comes another three more tasks from the other. How I wish I could stay long online but my eyes and body aren't cooperating. I can't do such a good job if I continue doing my tasks and my eyes are about to fall off. Arggsss.. I guess I won't be able to do these tasks until tonight for when I wake up after taking a nap I wanna be busy in the kitchen to prepare at least two dishes for my husband's birthday.

That Was Nice

I didn't know it is beautiful outside because of the Fall foliage all over the place. The color of the trees just breathtaking. I wouldn't have known this if I didn't go out this morning. For the past weeks I have only been inside the house, not even taking a walk in the neighborhood with my Jadyn. What is going on with me? I am too occupied doing little inside the house that I almost forgot there is still a world outside.

Unfortunately though I wasn't able to take good pictures of the nature as we drove along the road where lots of trees turning golden yellow and red. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to get some, promise to share it here with you all so people in the tropical climate countries can get to see the beauty of nature when it's Fall.

A Christmas Experience

I grew up believing that Santa Clause existed and was real. Every Christmas years back, I was wishing that Santa would come by our house and drop me a stocking stuffed with chocolates and money. But that somehow was only part of a small child's mind that never happened. This Christmas, I will be home with my Filipino family and for that I make a promise to my little siblings that they are gonna have stockings in Christmas eve for Santa will be giving them some presents. Before that could happen, I would love to buy some embroidered Christmas stockings to bring so I can have something very neat to use in there. For sure they will be happy of what they are going to see in the morning. I really want to do that so I can at least make the little kids' wish come true. I am with them and I have the resources to do such a thoughtful thing to my siblings. If possible I want to make this Christmas an unforgettable Christmas they can ever have in life.

54 Tomorrow

My husband's 54th birthday will be tomorrow. I plan of making him spaghetti and pork meatloaf or what we call Embutido in Filipino. Yes, he will be 54 tomorrow, can you believe that? Sounds old, right? But in fairness, I don't see him as old. In fact, many say he doesn't look like his age which I agree. I have seen a lot of American men that are a lot younger than him yet they look like 60 or older it's because they are showing gray hair, forehead wrinkles, skin patches like that of elderly people and worse they are so out of shape. My husband isn't like that. I look at him like he is still in his mid 40's. I was just fortunate to have found a man who is good looking that liked me too and married me. Wink!

That is why I cannot see my family as often as I want and I am sure most people living abroad can somehow relate to me. They all know that in order for the trip to be done, they have to have enough budget to spend while in the country, let alone the cost of tickets can potentially leave other people pay off their credit cards for several months.

With all these being said, I am anxious to be with my family again especially my little siblings, Alex and Adong. They are so dear to me that I miss them constantly. I am excited but I guess they are more anxious of me to be with them once again so we can create a more solid bonding and love, a bond only brothers and sisters share.

Mama Is Okay

I was kind of worried when my brother chatted with me the other night about mama having a mild stroke. Well, it wasn't the case. He only made it sounded as if she was serious (which I hope she isn't). Although I heard mama was complaining about the pain she feels in her left arm the previous days I've chatted with them.

Last night, I was able to talk to my mother, yes she is still hurting there in fact she had a sling in her arm. I promised her to bring her to the doctor for general health check up when I get there. My brother couldn't do it as he no longer has the funds to pay for the check up so I'll do it. 4 weeks remaining and I am going no matter what. God will give us the chance for safe travels so we can make it there safe and sound!

Last night, I was able to talk to my mother, yes she is still hurting there in fact she had a sling in her arm. I promised her to bring her to the doctor for general health check up when I get there. My brother couldn't do it as he no longer has the funds to pay for the check up so I'll do it. 4 weeks remaining and I am going no matter what. God will give us the chance for safe travels so we can make it there safe and sound!

This is a shot of my little girl in her improvised "play house". I put the chair cover on top of her two strollers so it can dry up without the use of our dryer saving us some energy. She saw it and she took it as her house. She then played there for a few times dragging me inside too and we played together. Smart girl she is for thinking that is her house. She needs a real play house, can't you tell? I hope someday we will be able to buy her one.
