Snow Just Started Fallin'

It's 1:38 in the morning here and I've been up for at least almost an hour. I woke up because my body clock hasn't adjusted to my new time yet, it's snack time back in the Philippines so here I am and the baby both wide awake having our snacks. I peeked out the window only to find out that the world is so white, the ground is covered with snow that I cannot see the pathway or the street anymore. The old snow from the past days hasn't melted and here it is, a new one keep pouring in. I wonder how thick it is going to be in the morning? I can pretty much tell that it is at least three inches deep right now and it's still pouring! Holy guacamole, we have an early appointment to my baby's Pediatrician tomorrow morning and it's freezing cold. Will I ever survive to be outside in this kind of weather? I doubt that!

That Was Nice

I didn't know it is beautiful outside because of the Fall foliage all over the place. The color of the trees just breathtaking. I wouldn't have known this if I didn't go out this morning. For the past weeks I have only been inside the house, not even taking a walk in the neighborhood with my Jadyn. What is going on with me? I am too occupied doing little inside the house that I almost forgot there is still a world outside.

Unfortunately though I wasn't able to take good pictures of the nature as we drove along the road where lots of trees turning golden yellow and red. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to get some, promise to share it here with you all so people in the tropical climate countries can get to see the beauty of nature when it's Fall.

That Was Nice

Custom Cars

Yep, we had a blast at the car show up in Dallas today. We left early as agreed but it took us one and a half hours to get to the venue. We were lost, we kept driving around before we could find the place where the custom car show was held. We were kinda late, when we got there some of the cars have left and were leaving... but despite of that we still saw some fine and sleek looking cars from the 30s and beyond. Few photos below. There will be more photos next time in my other blogs so better check it out!

Custom Cars

Yep, we had a blast at the car show up in Dallas today. We left early as agreed but it took us one and a half hours to get to the venue. We were lost, we kept driving around before we could find the place where the custom car show was held. We were kinda late, when we got there some of the cars have left and were leaving... but despite of that we still saw some fine and sleek looking cars from the 30s and beyond. Few photos below. Not Ready For Summer Yet

We went out for a walk earlier this afternoon and I am glad for we were able to breathe some fresh air and got some sun. I brought with me my Jadyn and the dog on a leash. However, it was too hot that it's biting off my skin so I chose not to prolong our walk. We only did a couple of rounds in 3 three blocks then went home. It was just unbelievably hot, feels like Summer already.

Yes, I almost forgot that we are now entering April. That would only mean one thing that Summer is almost here. Yikes! The most dreaded season of the year is Summer, hotness here could reach up to 109 Fahrenheit. Imagine being outside in that temperature, would you be happy? I won't.

Snow Melted

My excitement has ended abruptly when the snow has melted just before noontime. When I woke up this morning there were already some dusting on the ground and I was happy. The weather forecast yesterday said that we are gonna have 1-2 inches of snow today but to my dismay it MELTED!

Despite of that I still see some major wrecks in the highways that was being flashed on the evening news. It was a big truck that was badly wrecked due to slippery condition of the road. Thankfully though no other vehicles got involved in the accident otherwise it will be a total disaster.

Cold

I thought we were over the cold days here in Texas because it was so nice last week. The temperature was just awesome for the whole week reaching 60 degrees high. We had a chance to take a walk around this new neighborhood and I even brought my baby to the nearest playground in the new neighborhood adjacent to EV.

Truly weather/temperature is fickle. One thing we know it suddenly dropped down to 40s or worse 30s. I don't mind the coldness as long as we have snow but there isn't. Last December was the coldest I think. We had snow twice and I was very happy. I don't think we can have it again this year though.
