Girls Just Giggling and Having Fun

I am listening to my girls right now having fun playing together and laughing together. Both of them are making zombie sounds which they copied from watching The Walking Dead show on Netflix. They sound both so cute and truly sound like zombies. U love it when they get along, they make the cutest sounds ever that is like music to my ears. I can say, there are more play scenes than fighting.

So Jadyn's jealousy and that feeling of rivalry with baby sister is fading away. She now calls her sister to play with her and when the baby is sleeping too, she'd wake her up so she can play with her sister. How awesome is that? I guess one of the many reasons the firstborn now plays with baby sister is that, Megan is passed the drooling stage... when she was under one year old, she drooled a lot which the big sister hated because she didn't want her toys to get saliva on them. I hope their solid bonding will continue until they grow old and prefer to have each other rather than seeking friends outside.

Bossy Little Child Of Mine

What had happened to my little Jadyn? She used to be so sweet and polite. When she reached four years old she became bossy and a bit difficult child to deal with. I hope that this is just temporary because I cannot stand her bossing me around as if I am just her playmate or slave. There are times that she gets very demanding at me doing things for her that is so simple and easy to do by herself.

One example is when she commanded me to hand her the warm milk I placed on the table near the t.v. She sat down on the other chair and wanted me to bring her milk to her even if it just within her reach? What is wrong with this girl? Of course I didn't do that, I am not a stupid slave to follow someone else's command who ranks lower than me.

Colorful Food

I realized Jadyn has not been getting vegetables lately. All I gave her are rice, juice and mango but I have a feeling that isn't enough. This afternoon I was awaken by the reality that my baby has not been pooping for probably 4 days now inspite of the fact that we have given her enough fiber supplement when we give her liquids.

So for her late lunch, I decided to steam some vegetables. Good enough I have some frozen colorful veggies and I used it along with hard boiled egg. Right now, I am happy seeing her eating good with the food I tender in front of her. Who wouldn't be encouraged eating her veggies if it includes four different colors like orange, yellow and white (egg), green and another white one.

One of the many things I learned from reading parenting magazines online is that to attract the baby to eat food is serve it delightfully and colorful. That way, they'll be more than willing to munch on it and finish it all.
