Another Package On The Way

I received 2 packages this month alone from the same person I know in Colorado. The first one was for my baby, it was all girly stuff that includes a nice yellow dress, a pack of Disney panties, 6 pieces ponytail holder and etc. Then the second package she sent me is my pinikas buwad or dried fish that she brought from the Philippines. Not only she sent me buwad but also 6 pieces small tubes of plastic balloons for my girl to play with. So kind of her to do that! Truly, I am grateful to have known people like her. Not because she sent me goodies but because the friendship she invested throughout these years. I haven't met her in person yet and would look forward to the day we hug and do endless chitchat with each other.

Meanwhile, typing this entry straight from my heart, I also check on FB once in a while to see the latest updates of people there...then there's one private message sent by someone who I met only once in my life at the airport when I made that first trip to the Philippines in 2007. Her name is Marivic Carrington and mind you, we only met once but our friendship didn't end as we parted at the airport. We exchanged e-mails, connected on FS and now on FB and the communication continues.

MOments ago, Ateh Marivic sent me a message telling me that she sent my little girl, the fetus something and that I should just holler her when I receive the package. How sweet and thoughtful of these people to do such act of kindness? I am blessed and I am happy knowing that despite of the chaotic world I am in, I still have few remaining friends who stayed true and real to me.

Kind People

Jadyn's reaction when she received the package from her tita Lerio of Colorado was priceless. She had this surprised reaction saying WOW many times holding her nice stuff she took out the box. I was happy watching she was happy, what a joy! Thanks to my ever kindest friend Lerio for remembering my Jadyn. Every Christmas she has something for my girl, so kind of her even though we never met in person. Thankful I am to her for her friendship.

I met Lerio a few years back on the internet, it was on a dating site when she private messaged me, we talked, she was nice and then the online friendship started. Never would I thought that there was someone who would love Jadyn as she does. Well, I knew from the start that she was a real person not a phony one, someone whom I can be friend with even though we haven't met physically. Deep inside I felt good towards this person that is why our friendship progressed and stayed until this time. We may have never touched or talked in real life but deep in our hearts we know the silent bonding we share with the help of the internet. Thanks to her. God Bless her heart and to the rest I know who have the same personality as her.

Remembering The Good Old Days With Classmates

Attached picture is of me and my classmates during our "bed making" class in UHA Caregiver way back 2005. As you can see we did have a good time during that day doing our practical exam through our smiles painted in each of our face. Three of those people there are already residing abroad in different countries including myself the one by the window that is so skinny and dark. Two are still in the Philippines and the other two, I don't know their whereabouts.

I can say, the entire Vancouver class made such happy memories that are hard to forget despite of the fact we've only been together for 6 months before fleeing to our destinations. Most of those classmates I'm still in contact with through Facebook.

Fun Day

Thanks to Annie and Tony for being so nice to me. They came to pick me up here- 32 minutes away from their home just so I can join them to watch a movie in the theater the Twilight Saga: Eclipse. After the movie we then proceeded to the mall as I was in hunt for a black dress, again we had the whole town in tow with us..look at the picture to the right..that's us right in the entrance of the mall.

Imagine the whole family went with me to find that black dress I need for the funeral. Thanks to them for they helped me with it. I had so much fun that day!
