Someone Remembers My Natal Day

I received a birthday greeting card in the mail today from our dear family friend. It was so thoughtful of him to send me a card for the first time ever! I love it when someone remembers me not just on my birthday but in ordinary days as well. I feel blessed to have known Mike in my life. I met him in the Philippines when he came with my husband to meet me the second time.

Just so he knows that I appreciate his thoughtfulness, I am posting the card here on this blog for keeps forever. Many thanks to him, he made my day! Take note, he is the first one to greet me for my birthday. Will be expecting a flooding of greetings on Facebook from friends that care on the 21st.

I Can't Stop Buying Stuff For My Daughters

Whether there is an occasion or not, if I go to the store or at the mall I can't help but by something for my girls my eldest daughter especially to let her know mommy loves her. She thinks I am nice if I give her anything that she likes. You know kids are easy to please, give her very little but nice toys they will surely appreciate it. It's Mother's Day that we are going to celebrate 3 weeks from now yet here I am browsing for gifts for your daughters on the internet. Instead of me being given something by my daughter why in the world it is me planning of giving something to my first born? Well, I will leave it like that because she is still young and little. Someday, when she has a job she'll probably return all the favor that I did to her when she was young.

Loving Her Horse

My husband bought our first born a Melissa and Dough stuff horse. It is not your ordinary stuff toy because it is something big enough and strong enough a 32 pounder girl can sit on. She loves it and my husband and I are glad that it became her favorite pal. She just looks so good while riding in it. Anyhow, what if I buy her an equestrian apparel to complete the look? I mean, she got a horse and all she needs now is the outfit that makes her look like a pro horse rider. What do you think dear readers?

Does anybody thought of giving someone a basket of coffee and coffee pods? Now I have an idea on what to give to my husband this Christmas. I couldn't come up with an idea of what's the best gift I can give to him. He does love coffee, in fact, he can't go a day without drinking his warm coffee every morning before going to work.

I am buying this painting shown here for my husband as my gift to him for our 6th year wedding anniversary this October. He had seen this picture before on Facebook when I was browsing the paintings of my online friend's wife. She is just so good at what she is doing and I am so amazed how fine her artworks are. Of all the paintings she has, my husband seemed to like the Spider. It was her husband who took the picture of this big spider crawling on the wall during his visit in the Philippines and when she got here in US, she painted it.

Can't you see how beautiful that is? I am buying it because I know that my husband is going to love it despite of the choking price of this painting. Guess what? She is selling it to me for $300. But with 300 it will pay for the shipping and it comes with a frame already that will look good with the painting. So you think I am making a deal here?
