Where Did the Time Go?

Tomorrow will be my firstborn's 7th birthday. I cannot almost believe that I now have a 7-year old girl who for me will always be my first baby. J is such a sweet and truly a good girl. When I scold her, she wouldn't talk back at me like what I did to my mother when I was growing up. I am glad she doesn't do that or I might have to think that the curse is slapping at me, haha.

Anyway, I am just happy to have cared and witnessed my girl's growth and all her developments. From the moment she was born until now, I can see she is growing to be healthy ( except for her bowel movement problems since she was 3) , has happy heart, full of life and most of all a loving child. I love her to death and I can't wait to take her to a happy place where she can play a lot and have a blast.

Kids Were Crazy Today

Today was like any other day, nothing unusual, kids, mommy and daddy were happy despite of the financial hurdle we are facing these days. It is the last day of the weekend it's our grocery shopping day so off to Walmart we went. After getting back from that long hour at the grocery store, the baby fell asleep or was had fallen asleep in the car.

The first born however did not take a nap and I was wondering where did all her energy come from. She was kind of hyper today, I don't know why. After an hour of sleeping in the bed, the second one woke up and they played. But, they were strange today. Both of them were just jumping up and down, screaming and yelling, making noises too that tested my patience.

I am not a perfect mother, I am human and so I yelled at them, giving threats to the first born that if she's not going to calm down, I'll call dada so he can put her to time out, etc. It's just one of those days that I think my girls are crazy. But hey, I love them, I really do.

Girls Just Giggling and Having Fun

I am listening to my girls right now having fun playing together and laughing together. Both of them are making zombie sounds which they copied from watching The Walking Dead show on Netflix. They sound both so cute and truly sound like zombies. U love it when they get along, they make the cutest sounds ever that is like music to my ears. I can say, there are more play scenes than fighting.

So Jadyn's jealousy and that feeling of rivalry with baby sister is fading away. She now calls her sister to play with her and when the baby is sleeping too, she'd wake her up so she can play with her sister. How awesome is that? I guess one of the many reasons the firstborn now plays with baby sister is that, Megan is passed the drooling stage... when she was under one year old, she drooled a lot which the big sister hated because she didn't want her toys to get saliva on them. I hope their solid bonding will continue until they grow old and prefer to have each other rather than seeking friends outside.

Wanting to Play with Me

Just two more tasks to go and I'll be signing out here. My Jadyn has asked me 2 times already if I could play "pretend" with her. She looks poor! She is watching t.v right now but I know she is waiting on me and so does my little one.

I have been so busy that I barely spend time just sitting down and play a bit with my girls although I bring them along with me whenever I go but you think that is enough to call it, bonding? It's hard when you only have one body and there so many things need to be done plus there two kids that are demanding... good thing the daddy isn't demanding, he is just letting me be...

Opening Up

It is always nice to be able to express yourself especially when you are boiling up inside. I heard the most unpleasant name that my husband called me last night but I did not react to this because I thought it was true. He was also pissed at me being pissed at something.

I was just tired and wanting to rest, I couldn't. The little one clinging into me for two straight hours. As soon as I arrived home hanging out with my friend at the mall, Megan never left me alone...she seemed to miss me that much huh. I tried putting her down, in the crib with milk but when she finished all her milk she cried again wanting to be picked up.

I was spreading my negative energy in the house and surely the husband didn't like that, he called me BITCHY! Duh keber I was tired! I explained to him what was going on and I hope he got me. When my mood gets sour that means something is going on inside me. I needed help with the baby and he was in the garage, relaxing and sipping his beer... arggsss how unfair is that?

Anyway, I hope he now has an idea that when my temper heats up meaning I need his help. It feels good after I told him what had happened.

Bossy Little Child Of Mine

What had happened to my little Jadyn? She used to be so sweet and polite. When she reached four years old she became bossy and a bit difficult child to deal with. I hope that this is just temporary because I cannot stand her bossing me around as if I am just her playmate or slave. There are times that she gets very demanding at me doing things for her that is so simple and easy to do by herself.

One example is when she commanded me to hand her the warm milk I placed on the table near the t.v. She sat down on the other chair and wanted me to bring her milk to her even if it just within her reach? What is wrong with this girl? Of course I didn't do that, I am not a stupid slave to follow someone else's command who ranks lower than me.

It Was My First Time Leaving My First Born Behind

I left my first born today for the first time. I went to attend a small Filipino gathering today in Mansfield. Before I left, I had to make up a white lie to her just so she doesn't cry. I said I am taking the baby to the doctor to be poked with needles and I don't want her coming with me so she doesn't see the baby crying in pain. Poor child, so innocent she didn't know I was actually going to the party!

I am somewhat guilty when we arrived at the house of the Filipino who hosted the party because her house was so close to the park as in it was just a few steps away from her house. If you stand right outside her front door, you could see the playground so close by. I loved the community playground because it has a nice
playground swingsets, slides and the whole playground is covered with green thingy from above to keep the kids protected from the sun when playing.

Sleeping Longer

It is a miracle for my little Pearl to be sleeping this late. She normally wakes up at 9 in the morning and demands for milk. Honestly, the world is so quiet without Megan here by my side. The only sound I can hear right now is from my Jadyn's computer and the airplane.

Speaking of the girl, she's awake now and oh so messy! She has a whole poopy diaper..no wonder she looks happy and smiling for she now relieved herself after 2 days of not defecating! What a better morning to start my day seeing my girls happy and healthy. Thank You, Lord for such wonderful kids and amazing family I have!

Sleep Deprived

I should be sleeping instead of tapping my computer. Promise, I did try to sleep earlier but I couldn't although my eyes really wanting to shut even just for a few minutes. How can I sleep if my baby girl continues to make sound that bothers me so much? I couldn't sleep if she wouldn't sleep. I don't know why that is? Now I am ready for bed, it is barely 8 pm and here I am feels like ready to hit the hay anytime soon. Gladly, I am done doing my online tasks. Arggggs I am so so sleep deprived and my only wish right now is to get a full 8 hours sleep even just for a night. Anyone wants to volunteer looking after my baby while I sleep?

Keeping A Food Diary

I was told by my baby's Pediatrician to keep a diary every food that Jadyn is eating so it will be easier for us to track which food that caused her indigestion or bloated. That is an easy thing to do since I am not busy at home. However, what can be troublesome is that jotting down every little amount of food she puts in her mouth and I am confused whether to include it or not since there are times she would only eat a bit of it for example a bit of asparagus or corn snack or whatever. I have been doing the food diary thing for five nows and I guess I am doing good at it. I just hope when we go see a Pediatric Gastroenterologist, he can help us what sort of foods do we feed the baby and what are those that she is not allowed to eat. I can't wait to see the doctor so we'll have answers why her belly is always bloated and big.

Coughing Hard

I haven't slept good since last night because my baby girl is coughing so hard. It was so hard that she threw up in the bed. She started coughing the day we went to Kawasan Falls and I thought she will get better but she coughs and coughs. I haven't given her any medication instead I gave her herbal medication that my mother has. I guess it's not working so I may have to consider buying her cough syrup today. Geezz it's going to be hard for her and for me. I feel dizzy and she is sick. A long trip awaits at daybreak.

I do feel I haven't really gotten that good rest I deserve since I arrived here over a week ago. How can I if there are always things to do, places to go and friends to meet? Despite of that, I enjoy my vacation here so far even I almost ran out of money haha...

Play house

This is a shot of my little girl in her improvised "play house". I put the chair cover on top of her two strollers so it can dry up without the use of our dryer saving us some energy. She saw it and she took it as her house. She then played there for a few times dragging me inside too and we played together. Smart girl she is for thinking that is her house. She needs a real play house, can't you tell? I hope someday we will be able to buy her one.

Bonding With Her Dada

Simple moments like this is worth keeping for so Jadyn can have something to look at when she grows up. A moment spent with her dada or with me is priceless and I wouldn't exchange it for a million dollar. My family is all I have and I love both my husband and baby so much. I am thankful to God for giving them to me. They are my treasure.

I Didn't Do This

I swear I didn't do this. You see the lipstick looks like that of McDonald's mascot clown. It was perfectly shaped to make my baby having a fuller red lips. She just stole my lipstick one day and sneaked into the closet, put some on and hid for a while. When I went looking for her, this is what I found. Silly baby in red lipstick. My reaction was half amazed half pissed.
