Where Did the Time Go?

Tomorrow will be my firstborn's 7th birthday. I cannot almost believe that I now have a 7-year old girl who for me will always be my first baby. J is such a sweet and truly a good girl. When I scold her, she wouldn't talk back at me like what I did to my mother when I was growing up. I am glad she doesn't do that or I might have to think that the curse is slapping at me, haha.

Anyway, I am just happy to have cared and witnessed my girl's growth and all her developments. From the moment she was born until now, I can see she is growing to be healthy ( except for her bowel movement problems since she was 3) , has happy heart, full of life and most of all a loving child. I love her to death and I can't wait to take her to a happy place where she can play a lot and have a blast.

My Father What Do I Do?

My father appeared in my dreams for 3 consecutive nights. He appeared to die many times and that is just  so weird and torturing me so bad. Imagine seeing your father's death keep repeating numerous times, wouldn't it hurt you? I don't know what message he wants to send me but all I know is that I missed hearing his voice  hohoho....

I know what I want to do is visit his grave in Davao once I make it to the Philippines next year and that is a promise I don't want to break. The last time I was there was in his funeral leaving the cemetery with just piles of dirt with him under the ground. It would be emotional for me once I get to see his tomb and oh it is going to be painful too.

And yes, I still haven't recovered of my father's death. It has been almost 14 months since his passing yet it feels like the wound is still fresh...

It Hurts The More I Listen To It

So as I was saying in my two posts below that I have this recorded audio of my phone conversation with my father, while it is great to have it but at the same time it hurts me more listening to it over and over again knowing that I could only listen to the same words and his voice now.

The realization strikes me after this one minute conversation I had with him that no matter what I do, no matter how I try to convince myself that my father is not dead, that somehow contradicted to the reality.

My father is already gone!!! Whenever I talk with somebody who also experienced losing a loved one, it always brings tears to my eyes and pain is always there, it seemed never go away!

Remembering The Good Old Days With Classmates

Attached picture is of me and my classmates during our "bed making" class in UHA Caregiver way back 2005. As you can see we did have a good time during that day doing our practical exam through our smiles painted in each of our face. Three of those people there are already residing abroad in different countries including myself the one by the window that is so skinny and dark. Two are still in the Philippines and the other two, I don't know their whereabouts.

I can say, the entire Vancouver class made such happy memories that are hard to forget despite of the fact we've only been together for 6 months before fleeing to our destinations. Most of those classmates I'm still in contact with through Facebook.

So Precious

This is a picture of my father inlaw and my baby girl when she was only 2 months old taken at our rental house in El Campo. I just find this shot so precious since our dear Pops is no longer here on Earth. I hope my Jadyn will remember her American grandpa that she was once loved by him when he was still alive. So sad though that we can no longer see him, he was such a very nice person to everybody and surely he will be missed by many including me who only have spent 4 years with him.
