Repainted Jadyn's Bathroom

From Disney Princess pink paint colored bathroom walls now turned to peach light at last. It was a big mistake when I colored Jadyn's bathroom pink for it didn't look good in there. The pink just looked a complete mismatch of the cabinets and the counter top as well. Light peach though doesn't look bad at all.

Honestly, even if pink wasn't the right color for her bathroom I was not planning of changing it as it takes a lot of time completing the job due to the grooves they put on the wall. Although I only did two coatings still it took me forever to finish the job. It requires several strokes to properly paint each groove before you can move on to the next one. The only thing that is left to be done in that bathroom now is repaint the base board and I should be finished after that.

Some would even offer bad credit credit cards to people who have really bad credits. This specific company that I am looking at right now offers the lowest and the best credits 2010. Sigh! I still need more time to think about it. I hope if I can decide, the time is not late for me to apply for one.

Snow Melted

My excitement has ended abruptly when the snow has melted just before noontime. When I woke up this morning there were already some dusting on the ground and I was happy. The weather forecast yesterday said that we are gonna have 1-2 inches of snow today but to my dismay it MELTED!

Despite of that I still see some major wrecks in the highways that was being flashed on the evening news. It was a big truck that was badly wrecked due to slippery condition of the road. Thankfully though no other vehicles got involved in the accident otherwise it will be a total disaster.

For example, the orthodontics that I went to have just started their clinic around Hulen and I shall say they are not so big that yet and they only got like 3 employees so far including the assistants and the orthodontics himself. So what they do is give out some free t-shirts to their clients that come to their office. When that client wear their t-shirt and go to the grocery store or somewhere and people see it, they will recognize that certain ortho clinic is providing braces or other services that they might be interested in.

Very Slow

I reprimanded my husband when he told me one time that he almost bought a new microwave when he was at Lowe's. I over reacted to that and said why would you buy a new one while we still have one running in good condition and it looks like new. He replied that it is so freaking slow. Every minute spent waiting on the microwave to get done he feels like he is wasting his time too.

I did not know that I experience the same thing until he told me that our microwave is very slow. Every time I heat my food in there, I freakin' notice that is soooooooooo slow indeed. If he open up again that he's gonna buy a new one, promise I won't interfere him as he was correct when he told me his problem about the thing.

Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery

As I mentioned in my old post that we had quite a nice time on Valentine's Day as we started our day. We visited the national cemetery in Dallas where we supposed to attend a funeral but it was rescheduled and we didn't know that. What we do instead is roam around and explore the big cemetery in a snowy cold day on Valentine's Day. Huh, what a date.

As I promised to my dear readers, here are the pictures that we took along with the breathtaking view in the lake. I have never been to a cemetery this HUGE, this beautiful and this neat. The Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery is where the Korean, Vietnam and World War2 laid to rest. Thousands of them have been buried in the place already and there are more ample spaces for the ones who are left alive.

A Thumb's Up From Him

After seeing Irish's beef with veggies recipe on facebook, I was motivated to make mine too only I used a different meat, ground pork from the Asian market to replace the very greasy beef meat. I just finished cooking my own ground pork dish and I absolutely loving it. I asked my husband to eat some of my cooking and geeeeeeezzzz thankfully he likes it. I mean he likes it a lot I think for he gives me a thumb's up sign telling me that it does really taste great.

I wish I cooked enough of giniling so I can still have some leftover for tomorrow. Jadyn is still sleeping and I am so anxious feeding her with my ginaling with rice. I am positive she gonna love it too. Wink!

A Thumb's Up From Him

Off To San Antonio

My husband just left for San Antonio to run errands for his father. It's gonna be long two days for us here without the man of the house. God keep us safe until our knight comes back Friday afternoon. It's not the first time being left in the house so I kind of used to the idea of no man around yet I'm still anxious upon sleeping at night time.

Hopefully by tomorrow the weather going to get better so baby and I can go walk in the village for some fresh air and some sun. I plan of bringing her to the pond a block away where she can see some ducks playing as I am getting my exercise as well. I so look forward to that.

How We Spent Our Valentine's Day

So how did we spend our Valentine's Day? Our celebration was just simple but unique in a way that we started our day very early with the goal of attending a funeral in Dallas. An 83-year old WW2 veteran died and was supposed to be buried today. We went to the cemetery on time, driving around looking for a group of people somewhere but ten minutes later we found no one was there except for 2 or 3 other cars in there visiting their loved ones.

So my husband called Home Depot ( the dead man's former work place) only to find out that the funeral was rescheduled. We weren't upset about that despite of the bone chilling temperature this morning instead we continued to roam around the cemetery and took lots of pictures. It was such an honor to have visited the graveyard of World War 2, Korean and Vietnam wars survivors! I thought wow I can't believe I am in this place right now.

The place is called Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. I loved it there because of the wide wide area of tombs neatly arranged plus there was also a couple squares of columnbarium as they call it and people buried there died in 2002-2008 and the ones on the grounds died a long long time ago. What I loved most in that place is the breathtaking view of the snow caps covering the small hills, the lake surrounded by white dusting snow and as you stand near the lake you can see the tombs all over as well as the hills with pine trees. It was just a natural beauty on Earth and the most beautiful cemetery I've ever seen and ever been.

After exploring the cemetery and taking pictures (I'll share pictures later once my USB cable arrives promise it is really beautiful out there!) we headed to P.F Chang Bistro to have our lunch date. We had a fine lunch date there indeed. Nice company (baby and husband) and tasty food that made my Valentine's Day an awesome one.

One Nasty Day

I am not suppose to share this nasty story I had this morning but I am out of topic to share my new blog. We have had problems with draining the second bathroom before but we had it fixed by people expert in plumbing. Since then, the problem seemed disappeared.

This morning the toilet bowl acted up again. My husband knew it before he left for work but didn't tell me anything. So I went there to relieve myself so confident that I cannot have problems when flushing but to my dismay the toilet bowl couldn't flush. When I pushed down the lever, the water boils up to the neck of the bowl.

I pushed it again boink hapit na jud noon niawas... so yucky all the bad stuff are still in there. Imagine how gross that was? Sorry for those who just ate or going to eat their dinner you can stop reading now if you choose. I was a bit worried for I know I am the one to fix the problem, husband wasn't around to do the job.

So I decided that I don't wanna mess with a nasty bowl, I left it covered and went in to the kitchen and ate my BRUNCH! Hahaha... isog ug tinai kay nikaon pa paghuman ato... after eating I went back in the bathroom and ohhhh the water subsided. I was thankful but there were still traces of nasty stool in there so as the toilet papers. I picked them up with a stick and throw in the trash can before plunging the water down. VIOLA! It worked! Thank God my problem was solved and was able to use the toilet again of course after disinfecting it and thoroughly scrubbing the bowl to get rid of some you know..germs!

It was a busy day at Walmart yesterday, well as usual during weekends this store I think has the busiest days on Saturday and Sunday. There are people everywhere, fat and big people pushing their carts everywhere in between the aisles and in the frozen section leaving no space for others to get through the merhandise. I know how my husband hate going to Walmart but he's got no choice, it is a lot cheaper there plus we needed to fill my birth control pills.

We were checking out and the line was so long with all the people stocking up for the whole week food consumption so as expected their carts are full. So to save our time, my husband volunteered to go ahead and pick up my pills at the pharmacy while I was at the counter waiting to be checked out.

One of the many stuff in our cart is his 2 dozens of beers in a can. Here in America you are not allowed to purchase alcoholic drinks if you are below 20 I guess? Correct me if I'm wrong. Then minutes later the cashier (an older White woman) asking me of my ID which I don't have. She asked me what year were I born and my age. Confidently I answered her, I was born in 1983 and I am 26 years old. I had my driving permit yes but it was in my husband's wallet.

She seemed to be reluctant with that, she even told her coworker, does she look 26? She looks young! I just chuckled. How could she cannot tell how I look? I am older now plus I had my baby with me but that seemed doesn't justify my age. Oh well, that's life.

So the goal of saving our time from being trapped in the long line wasn't achieved because I wasn't able to purchase the beer. I've waited for my husband to return to the counter and he himself fallen in line again just to get his sacred beer eh.

Just My Own Personal Opinion

I hang out in Facebook a lot. This is where I can shout how and what I feel at a certain time of the day. It also allows me to interact with friends and people I know with different topics, useful and nonsense topics which I think I can relate to. All in all, I love facebook. You can do a lot of things on this so called addicting networking site. There are a lot of game applications you can have fun, browse photos of local ordinary people and celebrities, you can chat, get your daily life predictions, fortune cookies and so much more.

But sometimes I find it unhealthy to be hanging around there every minute for some people there seem to become too braggart these days. It gets to my nerves when I see someone showing off too much of the worldly things they possess. Some would post pictures of how much money they have which for me is unethical. Money is such a confidential thing(and I take it as one's private body part and it shouldn't be exposed to the public) and there is no need for you to show it off to the world just to let the people know you have money. They would pretend they have that the kind of life others would envy while in fact they know themselves they live in a small shanty hut-- somehow pretending living in a castle like a princess-- hey you people wake up! You must be dreaming. Why can't you just be true to yourself?

There is nothing wrong with living in a small house as long as you aknowledge it and whole -heartedly accept that it is a fact. Why can't be proud of who you are and what you have? Or maybe you are just trying to cover up your insecurity? If you do then I can deeply understand you.

By doing so, you are informing people of your ignorance, they didn't know that you are that mung bean-brained person but because of what you do, they now know who you truly are.।am not only talking to one person here, I relay this entry to those who are doing this। They may be unaware of their deeds but it's still the same thing, they are bragging.

Just My Own Personal Opinion

I hang out in Facebook a lot. This is where I can shout how and what I feel at a certain time of the day. It also allows me to interact with friends and people I know with different topics, useful and nonsense topics which I think I can relate to. All in all, I love facebook. You can do a lot of things on this so called addicting networking site. There are a lot of game applications you can have fun, browse photos of local ordinary people and celebrities, you can chat, get your daily life predictions, fortune cookies and so much more.

But sometimes I find it unhealthy to be hanging around there every minute for some people there seem to become too braggart these days. It gets to my nerves when I see someone showing off too much of the worldly things they possess. Some would post pictures of how much money they have which for me is unethical. Money is such a confidential thing(and I take it as one's private body part and it shouldn't be exposed to the public) and there is no need for you to show it off to the world just to let the people know you have money. They would pretend they have that the kind of life others would envy while in fact they know themselves they live in a small shanty hut-- somehow pretending living in a castle like a princess-- hey you people wake up! You must be dreaming. Why can't you just be true to yourself?

Repair Man

Waiting for a tv repair guy to come over. I've been waiting on him since I woke up this morning but until now no sign of his presence getting here. I even received a text from my husband at work asking me if the guy is already here and I said nope. I can't do anything unless the guy is here .since I don't wanna stop working when I start is and won't be comfy if there is a stranger in this house.

No t.v for the past two weeks! Feels weird. Hey repair guy come on over now and solve our problem. I am pretty sure Jadyn misses her tv shows already.

Hello February

Amazing how times and months drifted away just like that. Yesterday we were celebrating New Year's and look at us now, entering the first day of February. In a couple of days it will be Valentine's Day, this day most sweethearts go out to celebrate love with their spouses, parents, boyfriends and friends.

As for us here, I don't know yet. I don't think my husband has a plan of something special for us either. Come what may, ika nga. Anyways, Happy heart's day in advance people!
